Here at FIT Kickboxing and Wellness our goal is to offer a well rounded fitness experience that is not only an excellent workout routine, but also teaches basic and relevant self defense techniques. Combining martial arts and heart-pumping cardio, kickboxing is a high-energy total body workout that is guaranteed to burn calories and fat. Our classes can burn up to 1000 calories per session and can be catered to any fitness level.
Our kickboxing class is a total body workout that improves cardiovascular endurance and muscle toning. The routine changes every month to prevent weight-loss plateaus, and workout boredom, while exercising our brains, and building new muscle.
We begin with a basic warm up of rope training, TRX suspension training, and tire bouncing.

Rope training targets the upper body and core getting our shoulders and arms ready for the heavy bag.

Tire bouncing helps warm up the ankles and works the calf muscles increasing our footwork.

TRX suspension training uses your own bodyweight for various exercises. It increases balance and stability and is an amazing tool for all fitness levels. Each month our TRX routine targets a different body section: upper body, lower body, or core.
After completing the warm up, we move on to 45 minutes of heavy bag work. In pairs, we perform multiple kickboxing routines at one minute increments. After our class, we gather around and bow out, congratulating each other on a great workout.
